Can wearing a beanie cause hair loss?

I wear a beanie almost every day, especially during winter and early mornings. Lately, I've noticed some hair thinning. Can wearing a beanie frequently cause hair loss?

I used to wear beanies all winter and noticed some hair breakage around my forehead. It's usually just friction, not actual hair fall from the roots. Try wearing a satin bonnet underneath or choosing a looser cotton beanie.

Bhai, agar cap bohot tight pehnoge toh baal khichenge aur tutenge. Thoda dhila kapda pehno aur sar ko dhoop aur taazi hawa lagne do. Baal bilkul sahi rahenge.

It only causes hair loss if it is super tight and you wear it for hours daily, which leads to traction alopecia. Switch to breathable fabrics like wool-blends with satin lining. Also, never wear a beanie on wet hair.

I ignored my hair thinning thinking it was just because of my winter caps, but it turned out to be a severe vitamin deficiency. Please see a dermatologist if you see a lot of hair falling out instead of just guessing.

Wearing tight beanies can sometimes cause sweat buildup which damages hair roots. Just like we manage our diet and sugar to keep our body healthy, we need to keep our scalp clean and sweat-free to avoid hair fall.

Bro, I practically live in beanies during winters and haven't lost hair. Just don't wear dirty, sweaty beanies because that causes dandruff and scalp itching which definitely makes hair fall.
