Can vitamins cause liver damage?

I've heard that some medications can affect the liver, and I'm curious about vitamins too. I take a few different vitamin pills daily. Can taking too many or certain types of vitamins actually cause damage to the liver?

Honestly, my sleep schedule is so wrecked that my liver is probably crying anyway, but my doctor told me that only heavy overdoses of fat-soluble vitamins like Vitamin A can actually hurt the liver. Daily normal ones are fine, so don't lose sleep over it like me!

I can only share what happened to me. I was taking random high-dose herbal-vitamin blends from an online brand and my liver enzymes flared up. Once I stopped them on my doctor's advice, my liver reports went back to normal.

At fifty-four, it feels like even breathing causes some health issue! But jokes aside, my doctor said normal multivitamin pills are quite safe. Just don't start swallowing them like candy thinking you'll become twenty again.

I was actually researching this online last night out of curiosity! It turns out that excessive, non-prescribed intake of Vitamin A, D, and E can accumulate in the liver and cause issues. It's fascinating how even good things can be bad in excess.

Hello! I see this question a lot here. Standard daily multivitamins don't cause any liver damage. The danger is only when people self-medicate with extreme megadoses over long periods. Just stick to your doctor's advice and you'll be perfectly fine!

I always believe in getting my vitamins from a good plate of sarson ka saag and butter rotis instead of tablets! But jokes apart, normal vitamin tablets won't hurt your liver. Just don't overdo them and enjoy your meals happily.

With my high BP, I have to be very careful about lifestyle and what pills I take. I get my liver and kidney function tests done every six months. Standard vitamins are safe, but regular health checkups are the only way to be 100% sure about your organ health.
