Can vitamin'd deficiency cause elevated liver enzymes?

Recently, my liver function tests showed slightly elevated enzymes, and coincidentally, my vitamin D levels are also quite low. Could these two things be related? I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my body.

Please don't take liver reports lightly. I once ignored slightly high liver enzymes thinking it was just due to a lack of vitamins, and it later turned out to be fatty liver disease. Get a proper abdominal ultrasound and a checkup from a gastroenterologist immediately.

In my younger days, I used to panic over every slight variation in blood reports. My doctor explained that while Vitamin D deficiency can sometimes be associated with liver issues like fatty liver, it is usually highly manageable with proper care. Consult your doctor and don't worry too much.

The liver is a very resilient organ that responds beautifully to gentle lifestyle changes. Vitamin D deficiency can impact metabolic health, which in turn might reflect in your liver enzymes. Along with your doctor's medicine, practicing daily Pranayama and eating light home-cooked meals will help restore balance.

Yes, some medical studies show that low Vitamin D is linked to liver inflammation and elevated enzymes. While you can try taking a spoon of fresh amla juice in the morning, you must see a doctor for a proper diagnosis if your liver enzymes are very high. Do not try to treat severe liver issues at home.

I had a liver issue that got complicated because I kept delaying my visits to the specialist. Elevated liver enzymes are a sign that the liver is under stress, and you need a doctor to find the exact reason, whether it is Vitamin D or something else. Please don't wait and get it properly diagnosed.

My grandmother always said that a healthy liver keeps the whole body active, but for complex issues like enzyme levels, we must trust modern medicine. While Vitamin D plays a big role in metabolic health, it is best to consult a physician to understand your liver panel reports accurately.

I am not a medical expert, but I can share my experience. During a routine health checkup, both my liver enzymes (SGOT/SGPT) were slightly high, and my Vitamin D was extremely low. My doctor put me on a weekly Vitamin D3 supplement, and within three months, both reports became normal.
