Can vitamin c be synthesized by the liver?

For a research project on nutrition, I'm trying to understand the metabolic processes. Specifically, I want to confirm, can vitamin C be synthesized by the liver in humans? Or is it purely an exogenous requirement?

Beta, the human body cannot produce Vitamin C on its own, neither in the liver nor anywhere else. That is why our elders always emphasized having amla, lemons, and fresh oranges daily. Make sure you include these natural sources in your diet to stay healthy and boost your immunity.

Nahi bhai, insaan ka liver Vitamin C nahi bana sakta. Kuch jaanwar ise khud bana lete hain, par hume bahar se hi lena padta hai nimbu ya amla kha kar. Toh dhyan rakho aur apni diet me thoda citrus fruits shamil karo.

I wish our liver could make Vitamin C on its own, it would save me from buying those expensive supplements! Sadly, science says we humans lost that ability long ago. So, we are stuck eating lemons and oranges to keep our daily dose sorted.

No, human livers don't synthesize Vitamin C. As a diabetic, I rely on low-sugar options like green amla or fresh lemons to get my daily dose without spiking my blood sugar levels. Keep a check on your fruit intake and consult your doctor or dietitian for what fits best in your meal plan.

While our bodies are capable of beautiful self-healing, we cannot synthesize Vitamin C internally. We must rely on nature's gifts. Drinking a glass of warm water with fresh lemon juice every morning during your morning routine is a wonderful way to give your body this essential nutrient.

Actually, humans cannot make Vitamin C in the liver, we must get it from our diet. Since I manage thyroid issues, I have to be very careful with my overall nutrient intake. Always consult your doctor and get your regular blood tests done to ensure you aren't deficient in any vital vitamins.
