Can vaping cause liver damage?

My brother has been vaping heavily for a while, and he recently had some abnormal liver function tests. Our family doctor is trying to find the cause. Can prolonged vaping potentially lead to damage in the liver?

Yes, vaping absolutely damages the liver. The chemicals and heavy metals in vape juice lead to oxidative stress and fatty liver changes. I had elevated liver enzymes until I completely quit vaping and started eating a clean diet. Get an LFT blood test done to know your status.

I always thought vaping only affected the lungs. Does it really filter toxins through the liver and cause damage? If anyone has experienced liver issues from vaping, please guide me on what symptoms to look out for.

I manage high blood pressure, and I know how crucial liver and kidney health are for overall metabolism. Vaping can cause liver inflammation and worsen metabolic conditions. Please schedule a regular health checkup with a doctor to monitor your liver enzymes.

Vaping introduces toxic compounds like acrolein, which can trigger inflammatory pathways in the liver. If you want to protect your long-term health, quit vaping immediately. It is much easier to prevent liver damage now than to treat liver disease later, so get a doctor's opinion.

Hey, don't stress too much, but yes, those chemical vapors do put a load on your liver. Try to cut down on the vape and drink lots of fresh water. Just consult a doctor for a routine checkup to be safe, okay?
