Can uti prevent pregnancy?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a few months now, and I just got a UTI. I'm worried this might hinder our chances. Can having a UTI actually prevent someone from getting pregnant?

I am also trying to conceive and was wondering about this because I keep getting mild infections. Does a UTI affect ovulation or is it just because the pain makes intimacy difficult? If anyone has gone through this, please guide me gently.

Hey there! Don't worry, a temporary UTI won't cause permanent fertility issues. But yes, the burning and discomfort definitely make baby-making plans a bit difficult! Just get it treated quickly by a doctor so you can get back to feeling 100% soon.

Honestly, when my wife had a UTI, she was so irritated she didn't even want her favorite pani puri, let alone think about family planning! It doesn't cause infertility, but the physical stress certainly dampens the mood. Better to cure the infection first with a doctor's help and enjoy some good food together.

Arre nahi, UTI se pregnancy rukti nahi hai, haan! Par jab tak infection theek nahi hota, tab tak try karna bekar hai kyuki dard hota hai na. Kisi acchi doctor didi se dawai le lo, do din mein theek ho jaoge.

Let's be direct: a UTI won't make you infertile, but trying to conceive while having a burning urinary infection is a bad idea. It can spread to the kidneys or worsen during early pregnancy. Go to a good gynecologist, clear the infection first, then plan.

I completely understand how every little physical symptom can make you spiral and worry about your future family plans. It is very natural to feel anxious, but a simple UTI does not block pregnancy. Just treat it timely with proper medical advice so you can have peace of mind.

Instead of worrying about long-term issues, let's solve the current problem practically. Go to a clinic, spend 300 rupees on a urine routine test, and get a 5-day antibiotic course from a doctor. Once the infection is cleared, you can plan your family without any health tension.
