Can urinalysis detect pregnancy?

I've missed my period this month and I'm a bit anxious. My friend suggested getting a urine test done at the lab. Can a routine urinalysis actually detect pregnancy, or do I need a specific home pregnancy test or a blood test for confirmation?

If you go to a proper hospital clinic, their lab urinalysis can definitely confirm it by checking your hormone levels. It is much more reliable than those cheap home strip kits, so just visit a gynecologist and get it done properly.

Actually, yes, a standard urine pregnancy test is basically a type of urinalysis that looks for the hCG hormone. Just make sure you use the first morning urine because that has the highest concentration if you are testing at home.

A simple home urine card test costs just 50-60 rupees at any chemist and works perfectly fine if you've missed your period. No need to spend thousands on big hospital packages right away, start with the basic home test first.

Yes, urine tests detect the beta-hCG hormone which is produced during pregnancy. While home kits are quite accurate nowadays, a clinical urinalysis or a blood test done at a certified lab is always the best way to be absolutely sure.

Yes, urine checks look for hCG levels to confirm pregnancy. If you want 100% solid confirmation without any guessing games, just book a beta-hCG blood test online, it is much more accurate than basic urine kits.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! Just grab a Prega News or any standard kit from the local pharmacy and test first thing tomorrow morning. It is super simple and gives you results in just two minutes.

I know how anxious this waiting period can be, it's really tough emotionally. Yes, a urine test can detect it, but if you test too early you might get a faint line or a false negative. Give it a few days after your missed period to be sure.
