Can u get pregnant during pregnancy?

I heard a really strange story online about a woman getting pregnant again while already pregnant. It sounds completely unbelievable. Is it medically possible to conceive another baby when you are already pregnant?

There is an extremely rare medical condition called superfetation where this can happen, but for regular people, it is practically impossible. Once a woman is pregnant, her body naturally stops releasing eggs. No need to worry about this.

Don't believe every strange medical fact you read on social media. While superfetation exists in theory, it is incredibly rare in humans. If you have concerns about your pregnancy progression, ask your gynecologist during your next scan.

Haan na, I also read about this online and got so confused! But actually, it is super rare and doesn't happen to normal cases. Once you are pregnant, nature takes care of everything, so don't stress yourself reading these things.

It is virtually impossible under normal circumstances. When you are pregnant, your hormones change completely to protect the baby. Make sure you are doing your regular blood tests and thyroid checkups as advised by your doctor for a healthy pregnancy.

This is called superfetation and has only a handful of documented cases globally. For all practical purposes, the answer is no. Focus on your prenatal care and regular doctor appointments instead of worrying about such rare phenomena.
