Can trelegy cause hair loss?

I've been taking Trelegy for my COPD for a few months now. Lately, I've noticed more hair fall than usual, which is concerning. Could this medicine be causing my hair to thin out?

Hair loss is not a commonly reported side effect of Trelegy. However, systemic steroids can sometimes cause thinning in rare cases.

I have been using this inhaler for my breathing issues for over two years now, and I haven't noticed any extra hair loss because of it. At our age, some thinning is natural anyway. Don't worry, breathing well is the main thing.

Do not trust random internet forums claiming inhalers cause severe hair loss. Trelegy is crucial for managing COPD or asthma. Verify any concerns with your pulmonologist before making any changes to your dosage.

Look, Trelegy is an inhaler for your lungs, and it very rarely causes hair fall. If you are losing hair, it might be due to stress, diet, or some other medicine. Don't stop taking your inhaler without asking your doctor first, lungs are more important.

I was on Trelegy for a few months after a severe asthma flare-up. I did notice some minor hair thinning, but my doctor said it was likely due to the physical stress of the illness itself. My hair went back to normal once I fully recovered.
