Can too much biotin cause hair loss?

My parlor wali told me to take biotin for my thinning hair and nails, so I've been taking it daily. But it feels like my hair fall has actually gotten worse instead of better. Can taking too much biotin actually lead to hair loss?

Actually, biotin is water-soluble, so excess is generally excreted, but taking massive doses can interfere with lab tests like thyroid panels. My dermatologist explained that an overdose can sometimes trigger an imbalance in other B-vitamins, which might ironically lead to hair shedding. It is always wise to keep the dose under supervision.

Biotin is famous for hair growth, but self-prescribing high doses is not safe at all. It could cause stomach issues, skin breakouts, or even hair fall. Please get your blood reports checked by a medical professional before taking any more of these gummies.

I tried taking these fancy biotin pills to save whatever hair I have left, but my stomach got upset instead! Too much of anything is bad, and if your hair is falling, these heavy supplements might just make it worse. Better to stick to simple home food and accept life.

I think overall blood circulation matters more for hair health. Instead of loading up on heavy biotin pills, try doing daily yoga or brisk walking for 30 minutes to boost scalp blood flow, provided your doctor says it is okay. Keep your supplements minimal and natural.

Don't stress out! I also panicked when my hair started shedding after starting a 10,000 mcg biotin supplement. My doctor just told me to stop it and drink more water, and my hair stopped falling in a couple of weeks. It is very common and completely reversible.

We vegetarians often run after biotin supplements for hair, but too much synthetic biotin can cause imbalances. It is much safer to rely on natural sources like almonds, curd, and oats in your daily diet. Food-based nutrients never cause these weird side effects.
