Can the runs be a sign of pregnancy?

My period is a bit late, and I've also had loose motions for the past couple of days. Someone told me that 'the runs' can sometimes be an early sign of pregnancy – is this true?

Oh absolutely, I panicked so much thinking I got food poisoning in my first week of pregnancy! But hormones can mess up your digestion completely. It is actually quite common, so don't stress.

I totally get it, dealing with an upset stomach when you are hoping for a pregnancy can make you so anxious. Hormonal changes can definitely trigger diarrhea in some women. Just stay hydrated and take a test in a few days.

Yes, it can be. When I was expecting my son, my stomach was completely upset in the first few weeks due to all the hormonal shifts. Drink plenty of coconut water and ORS to keep your strength up.

Digestion in our bodies is a mystery, and pregnancy hormones make it even more chaotic. Yes, an upset stomach can happen, but please don't start celebrating or worrying before you take a proper pregnancy test!

Hormones can definitely affect your bowel movements early on. Keep your diet clean, avoid spicy outside food, and focus on simple home-cooked meals. If you think you might be pregnant, a home test kit is the best way to be sure.

Beta, try drinking a glass of buttermilk with a little cumin powder to soothe your stomach. Sometimes early pregnancy hormones cause this. But if the loose motions are severe, please consult a doctor immediately.

Yes, it actually can be! Hormones can do crazy things to your stomach early on. Sit back, sip some ginger tea, and take a pregnancy test to know for sure. Good luck! 😊

Yes, hormonal changes can cause diarrhea in early pregnancy. The most practical thing is to drink plenty of fluids like lemonade and eat khichdi. If you have missed your period, just do a simple home pregnancy test.

Instead of guessing and worrying, just buy a basic pregnancy test strip from any local pharmacy; it costs less than 100 rupees. That will give you a clear answer much faster than tracking digestion symptoms.
