Haan na, actually it can indirectly cause cavities. Grinding wears down the outer protective enamel layer of your teeth, making them very sensitive and weak. Once the enamel is damaged, germs can easily enter and start cavities, so better to consult a dentist for a night guard.

Teeth grinding is often a physical sign of mental stress and anxiety that we carry. While keeping a positive mind and practicing daily meditation can help ease this tension, do take practical care of your teeth. Protect your health as it is your greatest temple.

Yes, grinding damages the teeth surfaces, making them prone to decay. Along with dental advice, I highly recommend practicing Bhramari pranayama before sleeping to calm your nervous system. It gently relaxes the jaw muscles and reduces nighttime grinding significantly.

I used to grind my teeth a lot during my stressful work days, and it slowly chipped my back molars which eventually got decayed. Back then we didn't know much about it, but now dentists have great solutions. Don't worry, just visit a dentist and they will easily guide you.

Yes, bruxism ruins your enamel over time. When you grind constantly, you create micro-cracks in your teeth where food particles and bacteria get trapped, leading to cavities. Get yourself customized night guards from a dentist instead of buying cheap ones online.
