When you are throwing up constantly, your body loses vital electrolytes very fast. Don't gulp down plain water, try taking just one tiny sip of electoral or ORS every ten minutes. If you still can't hold even that down, you need to see a doctor for an injection to stop the vomiting.

For mild stomach upset, sipping warm water with a little dry ginger can help soothe the lining. However, if you are unable to keep even water down and are vomiting repeatedly, you must not wait. Go to a clinic to avoid dehydration.

You can try licking a piece of ginger with some black salt to curb the nausea. But if you cannot even digest a single spoonful of water, your body will get dehydrated very quickly. Please see a doctor immediately for proper care.

I had a severe bout of food poisoning last summer where I couldn't keep water down. Gulping water makes the stomach contract and throw up again. Take tiny sips of ORS using a spoon every five minutes, but if that also fails, go to the emergency room for IV fluids.
