Can sleeping late cause weight gain?

Because of my work schedule, I usually end up sleeping very late, often past midnight, and then wake up late too. I've been slowly gaining weight, and I'm wondering if my late sleeping habits could be a reason. Can sleeping late consistently actually lead to weight gain?

Honestly, yes, because late nights usually mean late-night snacking on chips! But hey, don't stress too much about it, just try to slowly shift your bedtime by 15 minutes every day.

It does, because your body's metabolism slows down when your sleep cycle is disturbed. Try to shut down your screens by 10:30 PM and give your body the rest it deserves.

I have personally noticed that whenever I sleep past midnight consistently, my weight shoots up even if I eat the same amount of food. My body just feels bloated and heavy.

Actually yaar, sleeping late triggers cortisol which makes you hold onto fat, especially around the belly. It is so hard to lose weight if your sleep pattern is totally messed up.

Bro, yes! Late night study sessions always end with Swiggy orders at 2 AM. Plus, sleeping late completely ruins my morning routine, so I end up skipping workouts.
