Can pregnancy make you dizzy?

I've been feeling quite lightheaded and dizzy a lot recently, especially when I stand up quickly. Is this a common symptom? Can pregnancy actually make you dizzy?

Haan na, mujhe toh bed se uthte hi chakkar aane lagte the starting me. Your blood vessels are expanding, so blood pressure drops thoda. Don't stand up too fast from sitting position, and always keep some glucose biscuits handy.

Dizziness is so scary, my mind immediately went to the worst-case scenarios like severe anemia or something. Please make sure you are not staying empty stomach for long hours and get your hemoglobin checked. If you ever feel like you might actually faint or get blurry vision, please reach out to your doctor immediately.

Having dealt with PCOS insulin swings, I know how horrible sudden dizziness feels, and pregnancy makes your blood sugar behave even more weirdly. I would suggest eating small meals every two hours to keep your energy levels steady. Definitely mention it at your next scan just to rule out any iron deficiencies.

When my daughter was expecting, she would get very dizzy in the afternoons. I made sure she carried a bottle of fresh lemon water with a pinch of salt and sugar wherever she went. Just don't overexert yourself and take proper afternoon naps, beta.

It is quite common because your cardiovascular system is working overtime to support the baby, which can temporarily reduce blood flow to the brain. Just remember to stay hydrated and avoid hot baths as they can lower your blood pressure further. If you experience severe dizziness with chest pain or sudden headache, get medical attention right away.
