Can oura ring detect pregnancy?

My husband and I are actively trying to conceive. I've seen some people online say their Oura ring alerted them to pregnancy due to temperature changes. Can an Oura ring actually detect if you're pregnant?

It can track elevated body temperature trends which might indicate pregnancy, but it cannot officially detect it. Save your time and just get a standard home pregnancy test from the chemist. It takes two minutes and gives a clear yes or no.

My wife's doctor at Lilavati hospital told us that smart rings are not diagnostic tools at all. If you see a sustained temperature rise on your ring, just schedule an appointment with your OB-GYN. They will do a proper beta-hCG blood test to confirm.

Hey, don't stress yourself out staring at ring data every morning. While the temperature tracking can show some early hormonal shifts, a simple urine test strip is what you need right now. Take a deep breath, get a test kit, and you'll know for sure.

I get so anxious looking at my partner's health data on these apps. If her temperature goes up even slightly, I start googling everything from pregnancy to infections. Try not to overthink the ring data, just do a quick clinic check to clear your mind.

For me, the ring's temperature graph did stay elevated when I got pregnant last year, which made me curious enough to test. I can only speak from my own experience though, as everyone's body reacts differently. A real doctor's test is the best way.

Please don't delay getting a proper medical checkup by relying on smart devices. I once ignored early body changes thinking my smart band would alert me if something was wrong, and ended up with complications. Get a proper clinical test done immediately.

The ring tracks basal body temperature, which stays high after ovulation if you conceive. But so many things like a light cold or late dinner can also raise temperature. As a pharma professional, I always tell people to trust urine test kits over fitness trackers.

The Oura app has a partnership with Natural Cycles which tracks your temperature curve really well. It can flag potential pregnancy if your luteal phase temperature stays high past 18 days. But definitely log a manual pregnancy test in the app to confirm it!

My girlfriend's Oura ring actually showed a massive spike in body temp for like two weeks before she missed her period. She took a regular test and it was positive. So it gives a cool hint, but you still need the actual strip test to be 100% sure.

Honestly, my Oura ring temperature shot up last year and I panicked thinking I was pregnant or seriously ill. Turns out it was just a mild viral fever. Don't worry if your ring shows weird numbers today, just do a normal pregnancy test to be sure.

Why spend so much energy analyzing ring charts when a 50 rupee Prega News kit from the local medical store will tell you the exact status? Use the ring for sleep tracking, but use a real test kit for pregnancy. It is cheap and works perfectly.

Lmao a ring cannot tell you if you are pregnant, that is too futuristic. Just get a standard test kit from the chemist shop down the street. It’s way cheaper than an Oura ring anyway and actually works.
