Can not washing hair cause hair loss?

I generally avoid washing my hair daily to preserve its natural oils. However, I've noticed that my hair is falling out more than before. Could not washing hair regularly be a reason for hair loss?

Honestly, I used to think leaving hair unwashed keeps natural oils intact, but it actually did the opposite for me. All that dirt and sweat built up on my scalp and caused crazy itching and hair fall. Now I wash twice a week with mild aloe vera water and a gentle shampoo, which keeps my scalp clean and healthy.

Haan na, dirty scalp is the main culprit sometimes. If we dont wash it regularly, sebum blocks the hair follicles and hair starts shedding. Thoda regular cleaning is very important, ho na.

Bro, if not washing hair was a superpower, college hostels would be full of bald guys! But seriously, dont let that grease build a colony on your head. Just wash it before your scalp starts growing its own ecosystem.

I ignored a greasy, itchy scalp for months thinking it is normal, and lost a massive amount of hair on top. Turn out it was a bad fungal infection. Pls dont take it lightly and go see a good dermatologist if the shedding doesn't stop.

I know how stressful it is to see chunks of hair in the drain, it literally used to give me panic attacks every shower. Actually, sweat and buildup can choke your roots and cause shedding. Try keeping a calm routine of washing every 3 days and see if it helps settle things down.

I totally get it, you get so scared of washing because you think more hair will fall out during the wash. But actually, holding back on washing just makes the weak hair pile up and fall all at once. Keeping your scalp clean is the safest way to go.

A clean scalp is a happy scalp! Just wash it 2-3 times a week with a mild shampoo and you are good to go. No need to stress over it too much, simple hygiene works wonders.
