Can not pooping cause weight gain?

I often go days without a bowel movement, and it makes me feel very bloated and heavy. I've also put on some weight recently. Is it possible that not pooping regularly can cause weight gain?

Before you spend thousands on expensive gastroenterology tests and fancy laxatives, try adding high-fiber foods like oats and papaya to your daily diet. Constipation causes temporary water and waste weight, but fixing it with cheap, natural dietary adjustments can save you a lot of medical bills.

Straining due to chronic constipation can actually cause sudden spikes in blood pressure, which is quite dangerous. The weight gain you feel is mostly backed-up stool and gas, not fat. Please focus on a high-fiber diet, daily walks, and get your bowel issues and blood pressure checked regularly.

I suffered from severe constipation for years and always felt so heavy and bloated. Instead of pills, try eating soaked black raisins or having a teaspoon of triphala powder with warm water at night. It naturally clears your system and makes that heavy weight feeling disappear completely.

Oh absolutely! Whenever I get constipated for 2-3 days, the scale literally shows 1-2 kg more because of all the trapped waste and bloating. It is not actual fat gain, and the weight drops back down once your stomach clears up. Just drink plenty of water!

Sitting at a desk for 9 hours straight completely stalls digestion, leading to heavy constipation and bloating that looks like weight gain. I started taking a 5-minute walk break every hour and drinking a glass of warm water first thing in the morning. It keeps things moving and prevents that heavy feeling.

Yes! When things don't clear out, you'll definitely feel super heavy and see a higher number on the scale! 💩 But don't worry, it's just water retention and waste, not actual body fat. Grab a big glass of warm water and some fiber-rich fruits to get things moving! 🍎
