Can nizoral shampoo cause hair loss?

For my persistent dandruff, I started using Nizoral shampoo a few months ago, and while it helped with the flakes, I feel like my hair has started thinning. Could Nizoral shampoo actually be causing hair loss? I'm not sure if I should continue using it.

Nizoral can be quite drying, and dry hair breaks easily, which might look like hair loss. Try applying a little aloe vera gel or a few drops of coconut oil to your scalp a few hours before washing to prevent extreme dryness.

Haan na, it actually makes the hair very dry and rough, leading to breakage. Nizoral is medicated, so we should not use it daily ho na. Just twice a week is more than enough.

Honestly, I'm too tired to keep track of my hair fall, but I did use Nizoral for dandruff. It made my hair feel like straw, and a bunch of it came out in the shower. Just use a good conditioner after, and don't panic.

Bro, Nizoral actually helps reduce hair loss caused by dandruff and scalp issues. But if you use it too much, it dries out your hair and causes breakage. Just use it once or twice a week max.

Please be careful if your hair loss increases after using it. I ignored a negative reaction to a medicated shampoo once and lost a lot of hair before visiting a dermatologist. Go get it checked if the shedding is heavy.
