Can natural sugar in fruit cause diabetes?

My family has a history of diabetes, so I'm very careful about my sugar intake. I eat a lot of fruit. Can the natural sugar present in fruits lead to diabetes if consumed regularly in large quantities?

No, eating whole fruits does not cause diabetes. Fruits have fiber which slows down how your body absorbs the sugar. Just eat them whole instead of drinking fruit juices, which strip away all that good fiber.

Don't stress too much about eating fruits! Natural sugar in whole fruits is completely different from the refined sugar in sweets and colas. Enjoy your apples and papayas without any guilt, they are super healthy for you.

Natural fruits are a gift of nature and they don't cause diabetes. However, if you already have high blood sugar, you should manage the portions of high-glycemic fruits like mangoes or grapes. Always keep checking your sugar levels regularly.

I used to be so terrified of eating mangoes, thinking my sugar would shoot up and I would get diabetes. It is exhausting to constantly fear food. But my doctor helped me understand that whole fruits are safe and don't cause diabetes.

Yes, I agree. Natural sugars in whole fruits are safe because of the fiber content, so you don't need to worry.

No, whole fruits do not cause diabetes. I track my daily macros on health apps, and the glycemic load of whole fruits is very manageable. Just eat them in moderation as part of an active lifestyle.

Actually, whole fruits are totally fine, yaar. The fiber in them doesn't let your insulin spike like junk food does. Just don't go drinking packaged juices thinking they are healthy, those are full of added sugar!

I read so many conflicting things online and got so anxious about eating bananas. But actually, whole fruits are packed with vitamins and fiber. Just avoid processed juices, and if you are really worried, a quick HbA1c test will give you peace of mind.
