Can myoma prevent pregnancy?

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for over a year, but it hasn't happened. I recently found out I have some myomas. Is it possible that these myomas are preventing me from getting pregnant?

My wife had a fibroid (myoma) inside the uterine cavity and her doctor said it might affect conception. She had a minor keyhole surgery to remove it and we successfully conceived a few months later. Definitely get it checked by a specialist.

According to my gynecologist, it totally depends on the classification—whether it is submucosal, intramural, or subserosal. Submucosal fibroids can block the fallopian tubes or affect embryo implantation. It is highly recommended to get a saline infusion sonography to map their exact position.

Please do not try to guess this yourself or rely on online advice. Every woman's anatomy and fibroid location are different. Go to a reputed infertility specialist or gynecologist to get a proper scan done for your safety and peace of mind.

Yes, some specific types of myomas can affect fertility. You should get a pelvic scan done to see their size and location.

Haan, sometimes they can create issues if they are inside the uterus wall, na. But don't tension. Most of the time they don't block anything and ladies get pregnant very easily. Just get a doctor's opinion to be 100% sure.

It is a medical fact that submucosal fibroids can interfere with implantation. Don't waste time worrying; just book an appointment with a top gynecologist, get a 3D ultrasound, and see if a simple hysteroscopic removal is required.

I was crying for days when my scan showed two myomas, thinking I could never become a mother. But my doc reassured me that they were outside the uterus wall and wouldn't affect pregnancy at all. I delivered my healthy baby girl last year, so please don't lose hope!

Trying to conceive while reading about uterine fibroids at 3 AM is a bad idea, trust me. Half the articles will scare you for no reason. Just consult your doctor and let them handle the technical stuff while you get some sleep.

Actually, it depends on where the myoma is located, yaar. If it is blocking the pathway, it might cause some delay in conceiving. Best is to get an ultrasound done and let the doctor decide if it needs to be removed or just left alone.

My wife faced this issue too. Along with her fibroid treatment, she had to work on her lifestyle, diet, and regular blood pressure checkups to ensure her overall health was optimal for pregnancy. Keeping your general health in top shape helps the body handle these issues better.
