Can men experience pregnancy symptoms?

My husband has been experiencing some strange symptoms since I got pregnant, almost like he's also having morning sickness and fatigue. A friend told me about something called 'sympathetic pregnancy.' Can men actually experience symptoms similar to pregnancy?

Haha, honestly when my wife was expecting, my stomach also grew and I felt tired all the time! Apparently, Couvade syndrome is a real psychological thing where partners share the stress and symptoms.

Oh absolutely! It is called sympathetic pregnancy and it's actually super sweet. Shows how deeply connected the partner is to the whole journey! 🥰

My husband went through this emotional phase when we were expecting our first child. It's usually just extreme empathy and stress-induced hormonal changes, so don't worry, it settles down after the delivery.

Yes, it is surprisingly common and is known as Couvade syndrome or sympathetic pregnancy. Men can experience mild nausea, weight gain, or mood swings simply due to the emotional bond and lifestyle changes during this phase.

I thought I was losing my mind, but during my wife's first trimester, I actually felt nauseous in the mornings. Has anyone else here experienced this, or should I get checked for gastric issues?
