Can magnesium glycinate cause hair loss?

I started taking magnesium glycinate for anxiety a couple of months ago, and while it's helping with sleep, I've also noticed increased hair shedding. Could this specific form of magnesium be causing my hair loss, or is it just a coincidence?

I actually wanted to start magnesium glycinate for sleep, but I'm really scared of losing my hair. Does this really happen to people? Please let me know if anyone had a bad experience.

Arey, my hair fall only happens when I don't get my weekly cheat meals! Magnesium glycinate actually helps me sleep like a baby, which is great for hair. It doesn't cause hair loss at all, so relax!

I take magnesium glycinate to manage my high BP along with my regular medicines. I haven't noticed any hair loss at all. Usually, high stress or poor diet causes hair fall, so get your thyroid and iron levels checked too.

In all my years of taking magnesium for my leg cramps, I have never faced any hair loss. In fact, magnesium helps reduce stress, which actually prevents hair fall. Don't worry and take it peacefully.

Haan na, magnesium glycinate se toh hair growth achhi hoti hai because stress kam hota hai. Hair loss toh maybe seasonal change ya shampoo ki wajah se hoga. It is totally safe, ho na?
