Can low thyroid cause body aches?

I've been experiencing constant body aches and a general feeling of fatigue that doesn't go away. My doctor suggested getting my thyroid checked. Could low thyroid be the reason for these body aches?

Yes, low thyroid absolutely causes muscle weakness and severe body aches. Get your TSH levels checked soon.

I completely understand what you are going through. When my thyroid was low, my legs used to ache so much even after just standing for ten minutes. Getting on the right medication and doing gentle stretching helped me a lot.

Our bodies sometimes suffer due to internal imbalances, which can cause these painful body aches. Keep a positive attitude, eat fresh food, and take gentle care of yourself. Do visit a doctor to get your thyroid levels balanced.

My daughter used to cry about severe joint and muscle pain, and we didn't know why until her blood reports showed low thyroid. Once she started her daily medicine, her aches completely vanished in a few weeks. Please get a test done.

Oh yes, low thyroid can make you feel like you got run over by a truck! Muscle stiffness is super common with hypothyroidism. Just get a simple TSH test done and you'll be back to your active self soon.

I kept ignoring my body aches thinking it was just because of sitting at my desk all day, and my thyroid condition got much worse. Please don't delay your checkup like I did. Go to a lab and get your thyroid profile tested.
