Can low blood pressure cause weight gain?

My blood pressure is consistently low, and I've been finding it really difficult to manage my weight lately. I'm curious if there's a connection. Can low blood pressure actually cause weight gain?

Bro, honestly, low BP usually makes me feel so tired that I just lie in bed all day and eat snacks. So indirectly, the lack of energy definitely leads to some weight gain for me. But directly, I dont think low BP itself causes weight gain. Maybe check with a doc if u feel too sluggish.

It is so frustrating when you see the scale going up and you don't know why, especially when you already feel weak from low BP. I used to stress so much about this. Just remember it's okay, and your body is probably just tired. Definitely ask your doctor to check if there is an underlying issue like thyroid that might be causing both.

I was facing this exact issue a few months ago. My BP was consistently low and I was suddenly gaining weight. It turned out my metabolism had slowed down because I was too fatigued to move. Once I worked with my doctor to fix my hydration and diet, my energy returned and my weight went back to normal.

Haan na, actually low BP se bahut thakela thakela lagta hai, so physical activity bilkul zero ho jaati hai. Wajah se thoda weight badh sakta hai. But directly low BP se weight gain nahi hota normaly. Apne doctor se baat karke proper checkup karwa lo, ho na?

Usually, low blood pressure doesn't directly cause weight gain. However, if you are feeling too dizzy to exercise, that can play a role. Try to focus on nutrient-rich vegetarian meals, keep your salt and fluid intake adequate as advised by your doctor, and avoid processed junk food when feeling low on energy.

Please get a proper medical checkup done soon. I ignored my low BP and sudden weight gain for a long time, thinking it was just age. It turned out to be an underactive thyroid that was causing both. I really regret not going to the doctor earlier when the symptoms first started.
