Can liver damage cause constipation?

I've been struggling with severe constipation for months now, which is really impacting my daily life. I've heard that sometimes internal organ issues can cause this. Could liver damage be a contributing factor to chronic constipation?

I know how frustrating and exhausting it is when your digestive system just refuses to work. Struggling with constant constipation while worrying about your liver health can really take an emotional toll on you. Please hang in there and don't hesitate to seek medical help.

A sluggish liver can reduce bile flow, which is absolutely essential for smooth bowel movements, leading to constipation. I always suggest adding plenty of fiber-rich green vegetables and papaya to your diet to support digestion. But do check with your doctor if it is a chronic liver issue.

Haan bhai, jab liver thik se pachan ras nahi banata, to pet saaf nahi hota aur kabz ki samasya ho jaati hai. Aap thoda gunguna pani pijiye aur bahar ka talaphala khana band kar dijiye. Aur haan, ek baar doctor babu se zarur salah le lijiye.

I have been having terrible constipation along with a dull ache on my right side lately. Did anyone else with fatty liver or liver issues experience this too? It is making me so worried that things are getting worse.

I tried everything from isabgol to warm milk at night for my constipation, but it only got better when my liver health improved. If the liver isn't producing enough bile, your stool becomes hard. Try taking a spoonful of flaxseeds daily, but definitely get your liver checked by a doctor.

When my son was diagnosed with liver inflammation, he struggled with severe constipation because his body wasn't processing fats well. We made sure he drank lots of water and ate light home-cooked meals, which really helped his bowel movements. Keep a close watch and talk to your pediatrician or family doctor.

Let's be clear: liver dysfunction directly impacts your digestive tract and can cause severe constipation due to poor bile secretion. If laxatives aren't working, stop self-treating. Get a proper liver profile test done and consult a gastroenterologist.
