Can liver damage cause bruising?

I've been noticing that I bruise very easily lately, even from minor bumps, and the bruises take a long time to heal. My doctor has mentioned that my liver function isn't ideal. Can liver damage be the reason behind increased bruising?

As someone managing high blood pressure, I always keep a close watch on my body. The liver produces proteins that help your blood clot, so if it is damaged, you might start bruising very easily. Make sure you get regular blood checkups and show any unusual bruises to your doctor.

Honestly, at my age, I wake up with random bruises and joke that my bed is fighting me at night! But jokes aside, my doctor told me that a struggling liver stops making clotting proteins, leading to easy bruising. If you are spotting blue marks without bumping into furniture, go get your liver checked.

Haan ji, humare yahan kehte hain ki jab liver kamzor hota hai to sharir pe neele nishan jaldi padne lagte hain kyunki khoon patla ho jata hai. Isko halka mat lijiye. Kisi acche sarkaari ya private doctor babu ko dikha ke apna ilaaj shuru karwayiye.

Yes, absolutely. Liver damage reduces the proteins needed for blood clotting, which directly causes easy bruising.

A healthy liver is essential for keeping our blood pure and helping it clot properly. When the liver is strained, you might notice small blue or purple bruises appearing on your skin. Along with gentle pranayama to reduce stress, please consult a medical practitioner to find the root cause.
