Can lexapro cause liver damage?

Taking Lexapro for quite some time now, and while it helps, I'm concerned about long-term side effects. I recently read about some medications affecting the liver. Can Lexapro potentially cause liver damage with prolonged use?

While liver issues are very rare with this medicine, it's always safest to get a routine liver function test (LFT) done. If you feel any pain in your upper right stomach or dark urine, see your doctor immediately.

Humare yahan doctor sahab ne bataya tha ki ye dava safe hai, bas bina pooche koi aur goli mat lena. Jyada chinta mat karo, sab theek hoga.

I am always scared of modern medicines affecting my organs, so I take a lot of warm water and healthy food with it. Lexapro is safe, but keeping your liver healthy with a clean diet is always a good practice.

Hey, I've been on Lexapro for over a year now and my routine blood tests are totally normal. It's usually very safe for the liver unless there is already an existing liver issue, so try not to stress too much!

Haan, rare cases mein thoda liver enzymes upar neeche ho sakte hain na. Par normally doctor pehle se sab check karke hi prescribe karte hain, so tension mat lo.

Unless you are washing down your Lexapro with three pegs of whiskey every night, your liver should be absolutely fine! Just drink water and trust your doctor, buddy.
