Can lack of sleep cause swollen glands?

I've noticed some swelling around my neck and jaw, and I'm a bit worried. I've also been pulling continuous all-nighters for college projects and getting hardly any sleep. Could this lack of sleep be causing my glands to swell?

I completely feel you. I used to get so stressed and emotional when my lymph nodes swelled up after weeks of bad sleep and exam stress. It felt like my body was failing. Please rest, your body is just asking for a break.

Lack of sleep really weakens the immune system, making it easier to get mild infections that swell up your glands. Since I manage my diabetes, I have to be very careful. Make sure you get your sleep and eat a healthy diet to keep immunity up.

Haan, bilkul ho sakta hai na. Sleep deprivation se body ki immunity weak ho jati hai, toh chota-mota infection jaldi pakad leta hai. Swollen glands toh bas body ka sign hai ki thoda rest karlo ab.

I panicked so much when I felt a small lump in my neck after working late nights for a week. My doctor reassured me it was just my lymph glands reacting to a minor cold because of low immunity from no sleep. It went away in 3 days!

When my kids or I get swollen glands from staying up late, I just make them do warm salt water gargles and ensure they sleep for a solid 8 hours. No need to panic, simple rest and warm liquids usually do the trick.

At 53, my body doesn't forgive me if I stay awake to watch cricket. My throat gets sore and glands swell up like a warning alarm! It's just a sign that we need to stop acting like teenagers and go to bed early.

Bro, yes. Last month during our college fest, I was sleeping only 3 hours daily. My neck glands got totally swollen and painful. Once the fest ended and I slept like a log for 10 hours, they went back to normal.
