Can lack of sleep cause hair loss?

My hair has started falling out a lot more than usual recently, and it's making me quite worried. I haven't been getting proper sleep for months due to a new demanding job. Could a continuous lack of sleep be the reason for this hair loss?

Hey, don't stress too much about the hair fall, because stress will make it even worse! Lack of sleep definitely causes temporary shedding, but it gets better once you rest. Take care!

A disturbed sleep cycle ruins your lifestyle and increases stress, which directly leads to hair fall. Keep an eye on your overall health and get a regular checkup done.

While sleep loss increases physical stress and hair fall, make sure you are also getting enough iron and protein in your diet. Do consult a doctor if the hair loss is very severe.

I went through a phase where I was sleeping barely 4 hours, and my hair was falling out in clumps. Once I fixed my sleep, the shedding stopped. Try to prioritize your rest.

Yes, sleep is when our hair cells regenerate! Less sleep means happy hair days are gone. Try sleeping early tonight and see the magic.
