Can lack of b12 cause hair loss?

My hair has been falling out quite a lot recently, and I'm trying to figure out why this is happening. A friend suggested it might be a vitamin deficiency, specifically B12. Can a lack of Vitamin B12 really lead to hair loss?

Yes, it certainly does. In my younger days, I faced severe hair fall and fatigue, and it turned out to be a heavy vitamin B12 deficiency because of my vegetarian diet. Once I started taking the supplements my doctor prescribed, my hair grew back perfectly.

Actually yaar, B12 is super important for hair follicle health. I was losing so much hair last year and when I got tested, my B12 was almost zero. Just get a blood test done, it is extremely common and very easy to fix.

Yes, a deficiency in B12 can definitely cause hair fall and make your hair weak. Please get a simple blood test done to check your vitamin levels.

I totally get it, seeing bunches of hair on your comb can make you feel so anxious and sad. The good thing is that if it's due to a B12 deficiency, it is completely reversible. Take care and consult a doctor for some simple supplements.

I tried applying onion juice and coconut oil for months but my hair fall wouldn't stop. Finally, my doctor told me the problem was internal—a severe B12 deficiency. Home remedies are good, but you must fix the internal vitamin lack first.

I know how terrifying it is to lose hair and how quickly we start panicking about going bald. It is very likely just a basic vitamin B12 deficiency, which is highly treatable. Please don't worry too much and get a quick checkup done.

Instead of buying expensive anti-hairfall shampoos, just go to a local diagnostic lab and get a B12 and Vitamin D test package done. It will cost you around 500 to 800 rupees and give you the exact answer. If it's low, simple cheap tablets can cure it.
