Can labetalol cause hair loss?

I've been taking Labetalol for my blood pressure for about six months now. In the last couple of months, my hair has started thinning significantly, and I'm quite worried. Could Labetalol be a reason for this hair loss, or is it something else I should look into?

Haan beta, BP ki dawaiyon se kabhi kabhi baal jhadne lagte hain, humare padosi ke sath bhi aisa hua tha. Par aap khud se dawa band mat karna, doctor babu se pooch kar hi kuch badlaav karna.

Listen, beta-blockers like labetalol can sometimes cause temporary hair thinning, but it is usually completely reversible once your body adjusts. Don't stress too much about it, and definitely talk to your cardiologist before making any changes.

Great, so now we have to choose between keeping our blood pressure normal or keeping our hair! But jokes apart, beta-blockers are notorious for hair thinning. Definitely have a word with your doc to see if there's an alternative.

I had some hair thinning when I started labetalol for high BP. Instead of worrying, I booked a quick follow-up with my doctor, and we managed to adjust the prescription. It's a known but manageable issue, so just get clinical advice.

Don't let random people on the internet scare you into stopping your blood pressure medication, that is extremely risky. While hair thinning is a known side effect of some beta-blockers, only your doctor can safely switch your prescription. Go consult them.

Managing hormone and BP issues is so tricky, and dealing with hair loss on top of it is really stressful. When I faced hair fall from my medications, my doctor adjusted my doses carefully. Please don't lose heart and discuss this with your specialist.
