Can klonopin cause hair loss?

I've been taking Klonopin for a while now for my anxiety issues. Lately, I've noticed a lot more hair falling out than usual, especially when I wash it. Could this medication be causing my hair loss, or is it something else?

I completely understand how stressful this is, because noticing hair fall when you are already dealing with anxiety is the worst feeling ever. While it is not a very common side effect, some people do report temporary hair thinning. Please don't panic, and definitely discuss this with your doctor so they can reassure you.

Hey bro, I was on Klonopin for about four months and honestly didn't notice any hair fall. My hair stayed completely normal. If you're losing hair, it might be due to the stress you're going through rather than the tablet itself.

I literally freaked out and thought I was going bald when I started my meds! But then my doctor explained that stress and anxiety themselves cause massive hair fall. Once my mind calmed down, the hair fall stopped on its own even while continuing the medicine.

Haan na, even I was worried about this side effect when I started. Actually, my doctor told me it's very rare and usually we worry too much. Better to ask your doc once instead of taking tension, na?

In most cases, hair loss with this medication is quite rare and often linked to underlying nutritional deficiencies or stress. I suggest getting a simple blood test done to check your B12 and iron levels. Also, do consult your doctor before making any changes to your prescription.

It is so heartbreaking to see hair fall when you are already struggling with your mental health. I cried so many times thinking this medicine was ruining my hair. Please talk to your psychiatrist; they can help find an alternative or guide you on how to manage it.

I've been noticing a lot of hair on my brush since starting this medicine last week and I'm really scared now. Did this happen to anyone else right at the beginning? Pls let me know if it stops after some time, I am so worried.
