Can kidney stones cause bloating and weight gain?

I've been feeling constantly bloated and have gained a bit of weight suddenly, and I can't seem to figure out why. I was diagnosed with a small kidney stone last year. Could that be causing these symptoms like bloating and weight gain?

Yes, kidney stones can make you feel bloated because the pain can affect your digestive system. Sometimes, we also hold water weight when the body is stressed or if kidney function is slightly affected. Please take care and consult a doctor.

When our inner system is disrupted by stones, it can cause fluid retention and bloating, making us feel heavy. Keep your mind peaceful and drink warm water to help your body heal. A doctor's guidance will help restore your natural balance soon.

Bloating and sudden water retention are quite common with kidney issues due to fluid imbalance, which feels like weight gain. Between work and life, don't delay this—book a quick ultrasound and consult a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis.

My daughter felt extremely bloated and looked puffy when she had a kidney stone. The doctor told us that pain can slow down the stomach, and some mild fluid retention can happen. Don't worry too much, just make sure they eat light foods and see a pediatrician or family doctor.

Oh absolutely, kidney stones can make you feel super bloated and puffy, almost like you've suddenly gained weight overnight. It's mostly just water retention and gas from all the stress your body is under. Don't stress too much, just drink your water and see a doc!
