Can inflammation cause weight gain?

For a while now, I've noticed I'm gaining weight, and I also have conditions that cause inflammation. My fitness trainer suggested it might be related. Is it true that inflammation can cause weight gain?

Yes, it can, and it makes me so anxious because you can't even see internal inflammation! I always worry that my diet is causing hidden swelling that prevents me from losing weight. Getting a CRP blood test might help you identify if inflammation is the issue.

Yes, chronic inflammation can disrupt your metabolism and lead to weight gain. Practicing gentle pranayama like Anulom Vilom and deep breathing can help calm your nervous system and reduce stress-induced inflammation naturally.

Yes, it definitely can! I used to panic when my weight would jump up by 2 kgs in a week, but my doctor explained it was just inflammatory water retention. It is completely normal and manageable, so don't stress over the scale too much.

Yes, chronic inflammation can lead to insulin resistance, which directly causes your body to store more fat. Focus on reducing processed sugars, staying active, and consult a doctor to see if you need any basic blood tests.

Ah, so that's my excuse! Yes, inflammation definitely plays a role in slowing down our sluggish metabolisms as we age. Between joint aches and random bloating, gaining weight seems to happen just by breathing these days.

Haan yaar, bilkul ho sakta hai. Jab body mein inflammation hoti hai na, toh bloating aur water retention bahut badh jata hai. Isiliye lagta hai ki weight badh gaya hai. Thoda jeera paani piya karo, kafi aaram milega.

Yes, it can, and it is so emotionally exhausting to gain weight despite trying your best to eat healthy. It made me feel like my own body was betraying me. Please know your struggle is real and it is often just inflammation, not a lack of willpower.

Yes, inflammation can lead to weight gain by affecting how your body stores fat and handles insulin. Just take it one day at a time, eat simple home-cooked meals, and consult your doctor for a proper checkup.

Haan na, inflammation ki wajah se body bloated rehti hai and weight gain dikhta hai. It is actually very common but quite annoying. Ek baar doctor se checkup karwa lo toh clear ho jayega sab kuch.
