Can inflammation cause hair loss?

I've been dealing with a lot of hair fall recently, and I also have an autoimmune condition that causes chronic inflammation. My dermatologist mentioned a possible link. Can inflammation in the body cause hair loss?

Yes, it actually can! Scalp inflammation can weaken your hair roots and cause shedding. But don't stress too much, okay? Stressing will only cause more hair fall, so just take it easy and maybe get a mild clearing shampoo.

Our bodies reflect our inner state, and physical inflammation can indeed lead to hair loss. Stay positive, nourish your body with pure food, and practice quiet meditation. Taking care of your mind will help heal your body naturally.

Yes, systemic inflammation can definitely affect hair health. I suggest focusing on an anti-inflammatory diet rich in green leafy vegetables, walnuts, and turmeric. Clean, plant-based eating can do wonders for reducing internal inflammation and supporting hair growth.

At this age, my hair falls out if I just look at it wrong! But yes, inflammation on the scalp or inside the body is a major culprit. If only my weight fell as fast as my hair does when there is inflammation, I would be a happy man.

Yes, inflammation triggers telogen effluvium, which pushes hair into the shedding phase. I use my health tracker to log my stress, sleep, and scalp health, and there is a direct link. Focus on high-quality sleep and tracking your recovery metrics.

Yes, it can, and honestly, this is my biggest fear! Every time I see scalp redness, I worry it is chronic inflammation causing permanent hair loss. Please get a blood test done for inflammatory markers just to be sure and put your mind at ease.

Yes, excessive body heat and inflammation weaken the hair roots. Gentle washing with reetha and shikakai can help soothe the scalp without chemicals. But do make sure you are eating a cooling, simple diet as well.

I faced severe hair loss due to scalp folliculitis and inflammation. The only thing that worked was stopping all heavy hair oils, keeping my scalp dry and clean, and using a prescription anti-inflammatory lotion from my doctor.

I feel your pain, I tried everything from onion juice to coconut oil packs when my scalp was inflamed and peeling. While some home remedies soothe the itchiness, they don't cure the root inflammation. A good dermatologist's advice is what finally saved my hair.

Yes, inflammation can cause hair thinning. Dealing with thyroid issues has taught me that hair loss is often a sign of internal imbalance. I highly recommend getting a full thyroid panel and blood checkup to find the real root cause.
