Can i take vitamin'd if i have kidney stones?

I have a history of kidney stones, and sometimes I get them again. My family doc recommended Vitamin D because my levels are a bit low. I'm worried if taking it could worsen my kidney stone problem.

Dealing with kidney stones is very painful, so please take care of yourself. Since Vitamin D increases calcium absorption, it's really best to check with your doctor before taking any supplements.

Dekho, if you have a history of kidney stones, you have to be very careful. Vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium, which can sometimes worsen stone formation. Don't take any supplements without your doctor's advice.

I completely panicked when my doctor prescribed Vitamin D because I had kidney stones in the past. But he explained that as long as we monitor my blood calcium levels, a moderate dose is perfectly fine. Just let your doctor decide the safe limit.

Bhai, kidney stones give a lot of pain, I know. Please don't take any Vitamin D tablets on your own because it might increase the stones. Do ask a good doctor in your town first.

Managing my thyroid means I have to get regular blood tests done, including calcium and Vitamin D levels. Since kidney stones are often related to calcium, you should get a proper blood checkup and let your doctor monitor your dosage closely.
