Can i take unisom during pregnancy?

Since my pregnancy started, I've been having trouble sleeping well at night. My friend suggested Unisom to help with insomnia. I just wanted to confirm if it's safe to take this during pregnancy.

I completely understand how exhausting it is when you can't sleep during pregnancy, the anxiety itself keeps you awake! Unisom is actually quite commonly recommended by doctors, often paired with Vitamin B6 for morning sickness. But please check with your OB-GYN first just to be absolutely sure.

While some doctors say Unisom is safe for sleep and nausea, make sure you are also eating light, easily digestible vegetarian meals in the evening. Heavy dinners can worsen sleep issues. Always ask your gynaecologist before starting any new pills.

Please take care of yourself during this beautiful journey. Many pregnant women do take Unisom under their doctor's guidance, so just send a quick message to your OB-GYN to confirm.

If your doctor allows, doing a gentle 20-minute walk in the evening can really improve your sleep quality naturally. Regarding Unisom, it is widely used, but don't self-medicate—let your doctor prescribe the correct dosage.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! 🌟 Unisom is super popular for helping with sleep and even that annoying morning sickness. Just have a quick chat with your doctor at your next visit to get the green light! 💕

Please don't take any over-the-counter medicine without running it by your doctor first. I once took a mild pill during my pregnancy assuming it was completely fine and ended up with bad dizzy spells. Always verify with your OB-GYN.

My wife tracked her sleep and morning sickness patterns on her health app, and her doctor suggested Unisom (doxylamine) to help with both. It is generally considered safe, but it's best to log your symptoms and show them to your gynaecologist for a proper prescription.
