Can i take sudafed during pregnancy?
I've caught a really bad cold with nasal congestion, and I'm also in my second trimester. My husband suggested Sudafed for relief. Can I take Sudafed during pregnancy, or is there a risk?

Please be very careful. Sudafed contains pseudoephedrine, which can constrict blood vessels and is generally avoided during the first trimester. Don't take any risks with over-the-counter decongestants, consult your doctor first.
Sudafed can raise your heart rate and blood pressure, which isn't ideal when pregnant. Instead of strong decongestants, try doing a very light walk in fresh air and using a saline nasal spray, if your doctor says it's okay.
Hey, don't worry, dealing with a blocked nose while pregnant is so annoying. But Sudafed isn't the safest choice right now. Just call your doctor's clinic and they will suggest a mild, pregnancy-safe drop or tablet.
Actually yaar, my gynecologist strictly told me to avoid Sudafed when I had a blocked nose during my pregnancy. It's better to just stick to steam inhalation and check with your doc for safe medicines.
Sudafed is generally not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester. Please ask your doctor for a safer option.

Having a cold means you can't even taste your food properly, which is so sad! But please hold off on the Sudafed. Drink some warm soup or hot ginger water instead, and ask your doctor what's safe to take.
