Can i take pregnancy test 8 days before my period?

My husband and I are really hoping for good news this month. My period is still 8 days away, but I'm feeling some early symptoms. Is it possible to get an accurate result if I take a pregnancy test 8 days before my period?

I completely understand how overwhelming the waiting period can be, it literally makes you so anxious. But 8 days before is way too early for the hormone to show up on a home test. Please take a deep breath and try to wait a few more days.

Testing 8 days early is definitely going to give you a false negative, which is just sad. Instead of stressing, go treat yourself to some delicious momos or biryani and wait for a week before taking the test!

8 days before your period is biologically too early because implantation might not have even occurred yet. Save your time and test kits. Wait until at least the day of your expected period for an accurate result.

I totally get it, every single day of waiting feels like a year. But testing 8 days early is almost guaranteed to be negative even if you are pregnant, because hCG takes time to build up. Be gentle with yourself and try to wait.

Beta, have some patience. In our time, we didn't have these instant plastic kits, we just waited calmly. Testing so early will only cause unnecessary worry. Let nature take its course and test after your dates are missed.
