Can i take motrin during pregnancy?

I'm about 5 months pregnant and have been having a lot of headaches lately. My friend suggested taking Motrin as it helped her during her pregnancy, but I'm worried if it's safe for the baby. I'm trying to avoid any risks.

During my pregnancy, I had terrible body aches and tried warm mustard oil massages and herbal compresses instead of taking Motrin, which is not recommended. It is much safer to avoid NSAIDs during this time. Please consult your gynaecologist for safe relief.

My wife's doctor banned Motrin (ibuprofen) faster than a referee shows a red card when she was expecting! Apparently, it can cause complications for the little one. Better to play it safe and ask your doctor for pregnancy-friendly alternatives.

I had a bad headache yesterday and almost took a Motrin before my sister stopped me, saying it's unsafe during pregnancy. Did anyone else get anxious about taking routine medicines before knowing they were pregnant? I am definitely calling my doctor today.

Don't take Motrin on your own and risk expensive medical treatments or emergency checkups if complications arise. A simple, free call or cheap OPD visit to your regular government hospital doctor is the smartest way to get a safe prescription.

I am new to this, but is Motrin (ibuprofen) completely restricted during all trimesters of pregnancy? My doctor had prescribed paracetamol for my fever. Could someone please clarify if all NSAIDs are avoided?

With a hectic job, it's tempting to pop a Motrin for quick pain relief, but pregnancy requires a pause on self-medication. Take a sick day, rest, and book a quick online video consult with your doctor to get a safe prescription.

Taking Motrin during pregnancy can lead to renal or cardiac issues in the fetus, especially in the later stages. Please get your symptoms checked by a certified obstetrician who can prescribe the correct, safe painkiller for you.

In our family, we always advise expecting mothers to avoid English medicines like Motrin. Our family elders recommend ginger tea or rest, but we always trust the gynaecologist's final word. Please ask your doctor for advice.
