Can i take emergen c during pregnancy?
I'm feeling a bit run down and want to boost my immunity, especially since it's cold season. I usually take Emergen-C, but now that I'm pregnant, I'm not sure if it's safe for me.

Actually my cousin asked her doctor about Emergen-C when she was expecting, and the doc told her to avoid it because of the mega-doses of certain vitamins. Better to check first!

My doctor told me to avoid Emergen-C because it contains extremely high amounts of Vitamin C and other minerals that exceed the daily recommended allowance for pregnant women. Regular fruits are much safer.
