Can i take cod liver oil and vitamin'd together?
My doctor told me my Vitamin D levels are low, and I also regularly take cod liver oil. Is it fine to take both cod liver oil and a Vitamin D supplement together, or should I space them out?

Honestly, you shouldn't just mix them. Cod liver oil already has quite a bit of Vitamin D and Vitamin A in it. If you take a high-dose Vitamin D pill on top of that, you might end up overdosing. Better to get your blood checked first.

It is generally not recommended to take both together because cod liver oil contains a high amount of Vitamin D already. Please check your blood levels first.
I used to take both because of joint pain, but my doctor stopped me immediately. He explained that cod liver oil has high levels of Vitamin A and D, and adding another D supplement can lead to toxicity. Now I just take a normal fish oil without vitamins and a separate weekly Vitamin D.
