Our elders always advise eating fresh local fish for good health. Salmon is very good because of omega-3, but you must ensure it is fully cooked. Always double check with your doctor before adding it to your weekly diet.

My cousin was eating cooked salmon throughout her pregnancy and her doctor said it's great for the baby's brain development. Just don't go eating raw salmon sushi, that's a big no-no!

As someone who has managed PCOS, I know healthy fats are super important. Salmon is excellent for omega-3, which is great during pregnancy too. Just make sure it is wild-caught if possible and cooked thoroughly.

I just had my baby last month and ate baked salmon twice a week during my second and third trimesters. It really helped keep my energy levels up. Just make sure you never eat it cold or smoked.

I am in my first pregnancy and quite confused about fish. Is grilled salmon better than fried, and how many times a week is it safe to eat without worrying about mercury levels?

When my wife was pregnant, our hospital's senior nutritionist explicitly told us that salmon is safe as long as it's low-mercury and well-cooked. I highly recommend asking your doctor about the safe serving limits per week.

While I am a vegetarian, I know salmon is often recommended for its high DHA. If you are eating it, ensure it comes from a clean source. Otherwise, high-quality algal oil supplements can also provide those same omega-3 benefits.
