Can i eat pomegranate in pregnancy?

My mother-in-law insists that pomegranates are very good for pregnant women, especially for blood. I'm a bit hesitant as I'm prone to acidity. Can I eat pomegranate in pregnancy?

I am in my first trimester and just started eating pomegranates because my mother told me to. Is it okay to drink the juice directly, or is eating the whole fruit better to get all the fiber benefits?

You can definitely eat pomegranates, they are highly recommended for hemoglobin. Just make sure you wash the fruit thoroughly before peeling and avoid packaged juices. Freshly peeled at home is always the safest way.
