Can i eat pickles during pregnancy?

I've been having strong cravings for tangy foods lately, and pickles sound amazing. My grandmother said to avoid them. Can I eat pickles during pregnancy?

A little bit of homemade pickle is fine to beat nausea, but don't eat too much because of the high salt content. If you get severe swelling in your feet or high blood pressure, stop immediately and consult your doctor. Stick to simple home food.

My grandmother used to say a little lemon pickle is good for morning sickness. But I always checked with my gynecologist before adding anything extra to my diet. It is always safest to follow whatever your doctor advises during these months.

Yes, you can have a little bit of pickle to change your taste when you feel nauseous. Just keep the quantity very small so it doesn't cause acidity. Take care of your health.

Haan, bilkul kha sakte ho but thoda dhyan se na. Pickles have a lot of salt and oil, which can cause severe bloating. Just take a tiny piece with your paratha to satisfy the craving.

Honestly, when I was pregnant, I wanted to eat pickle with literally everything, even bread! Eat it if you are craving it, just don't blame me when the heartburn keeps you awake at 3 AM. Trust me, sleep is precious right now!

Yes, having a small amount of pickle is perfectly fine during pregnancy. Just make sure it is hygienic and preferably homemade to avoid any stomach infections.
