Can i eat mango during pregnancy?

Mangoes are my absolute favorite, and I'm craving them a lot since I got pregnant. I've heard mixed things from people. Is it generally okay to eat mango during pregnancy?

Yes, you can eat mangoes as they are rich in natural vitamins. However, in yoga we believe in eating foods that don't produce excess internal heat, so eat them in moderation and soak them in water for an hour before consuming.

Of course you can! If we stopped pregnant women from eating mangoes in India, there would be a revolution. Just don't finish the whole crate in one sitting, otherwise your doctor might get angry.

I ate mangoes during both my pregnancies and my kids are perfectly healthy. It actually helped me overcome my low energy phases. Just wash them thoroughly to get rid of any chemicals or pesticides.

I was so paranoid about the 'heating' effect of mangoes that I googled it a thousand times during my first trimester. Eventually, I ate small slices occasionally and nothing happened. Just eat a little bit to stay calm and safe!

My wife asked her doctor the same thing last summer. The doc said one mango a day is totally fine and actually good for folic acid. Just don't overdo it if you have high sugar levels.
