I used to panic looking at every cheese label in the supermarket during my first trimester, worrying if it was pasteurized. But cottage cheese (our regular paneer) is completely safe and actually great for protein. Just make sure it is made from pasteurized milk and cooked well before eating.

As someone who has to watch my glucose levels constantly, I can tell you cottage cheese is actually a savior because it has low carbs and high protein. In pregnancy too, keeping gestational diabetes in mind, paneer is a very safe option. Just ensure it is fresh and pasteurized.

Yes, cottage cheese is generally a fantastic source of calcium and protein for pregnant women. However, the most critical factor is ensuring it is made from pasteurized milk to avoid listeria infection. I always suggest discussing your daily diet and dairy intake with your gynecologist to be absolutely sure.

I totally get it, you want to be 100% sure about every single thing you eat right now because the baby's safety is everything. Don't worry, cottage cheese or fresh paneer is super healthy. Just try to eat it cooked rather than raw, and make sure it is from a trusted brand.

Cottage cheese is a very pocket-friendly way to meet your daily protein needs during pregnancy, especially compared to expensive health supplements. Just buy standard pasteurized packets from Amul or Mother Dairy rather than loose paneer from local dairies to avoid infections and save yourself from medical bills.

Ghar ka fresh paneer is the best natural source of strength during pregnancy. Try to make it at home using lemon and pasteurized milk if you can, as it is super clean. But please remember, if you ever feel stomach upset or fever after eating dairy, consult your doctor immediately.
