Can i eat cod during pregnancy?

My doctor advised me to include more fish in my diet for omega-3s. I usually eat cod, but I wanted to make sure it's a safe option during pregnancy. Can I eat cod during pregnancy, or should I pick other fish?

Haan bhai, cod fish bilkul kha sakte ho, isme mercury kam hota hai jo pregnancy ke liye safe hai. Bas ek baat ka dhyan rakhna—fish acche se paki honi chahiye, raw ya adha paka bilkul mat khana.

Cod is a good, light fish and very nutritious for the baby's growth. In our tradition, we always cook fish with a bit of turmeric and ginger-garlic paste to kill any impurities and help with digestion. Eat it fresh and hot.

Cod is great because it has low mercury, so you don't have to worry. I wish finding a way to get my pregnant wife to sleep was as easy as finding safe fish to eat! Just fry it or bake it thoroughly so you both stay safe.

If eating fish is part of your regular diet, cod is considered very safe and gentle during this time. Make sure it is sourced cleanly and prepared with pure thoughts. Keep your mind happy and take good care of your health.

Cod is an excellent low-carb, high-protein choice if you are managing gestational diabetes. It won't spike your sugar levels at all. Just avoid heavy deep-frying; grilling or baking it with light spices is much healthier.
