Can i eat cherries during pregnancy?

Cherries are in season, and I've been enjoying them a lot. My aunt mentioned something about them potentially being bad during pregnancy. Can I eat cherries during pregnancy, or should I limit my intake?

Yes, cherries are absolutely safe and packed with antioxidants. Just wash them thoroughly under running water to remove any chemical residue before eating.

Cherries are a quick, no-prep snack that you can easily carry to the office. They are high in water content and vitamin C which helps with immunity. Just make sure to spit out the pits as they contain toxic compounds.

I read that cherries actually contain melatonin which is supposed to help with sleep, which is hilarious because my pregnant wife still keeps me awake at 3 AM. But yes, they are safe, tasty, and might actually give you ten minutes of peaceful rest.

Of course you can eat cherries. They are actually great for blood circulation and iron absorption. Just buy them from a good store where they are kept fresh, wash them well, and enjoy them without overthinking.
